Founded in 1952, Lubchem began as a chemical manufacturing and blending company specializing in powdered chemicals, water treatment chemicals, and cleaning compounds. In 1974, Lubchem expanded its operations to include valve lubricants after acquiring a unique lubricant base stock from a major chemical company on the Houston Ship Channel. Lubchem capitalized on the versatile properties of this material to formulate a superior hydrocarbon-resistant valve lubricant. Lubchem entered the global market in the 80’s with the introduction of wireline grease seals, pipeline cleaning compounds, arctic-grade greases, and lubrication equipment. Lubchem now proudly serves customers on six continents.

As a leading manufacturer of lubricants and sealants, Lubchem is dedicated to continual improvement. Through research, development, and strict quality control, Lubchem maintains processes at the highest level of performance.
