Lubchem began its journey in 1952 as a chemical manufacturing and blending compa-
ny specializing in powdered chemicals, water treatment chemicals, and cleaning com-
pounds.

In 1974, Lubchem expanded its operations to include a valve lubricants line after

acquiring a waste stream from a major chemical company on the Houston Ship Chan-
nel. Lubchem capitalized on the versatile properties of the waste stream to formulate a superior hydrocarbon-resistant lubricant base oil.

Lubchem exploded into the global market with the introduction of wireline grease seal,
pipeline cleaning compounds, arctic grade greases, and lubrication equipment.
Lubchem now proudly serves customers in six continents.
